FOR THE KIDS Benefit Foundation, Inc. began with a simple Toy Run 32 years ago, founded by DB Bishop, Ed Stone, Tattoo Bob, and Trapper, with Bruce Guffee bringing the event to life by riding as Santa for 26 years. His son, George, now a director of the organization, proudly continues that tradition and leads the Toy Run as Santa every year, emphasizing the importance of community support and child empowerment.
As the Toy Run grew, its purpose deepened when Chey became involved. While caring for his son Blake, who had a terminal illness, Chey encountered many obstacles that families face, further highlighting the need for family assistance programs. His friendship with George—and their shared desire to support families in crisis—sparked a vision to expand the Toy Run into something greater.
In 2021, inspired by Blake’s journey and the challenges faced by families across Texoma, FOR THE KIDS Benefit Foundation, Inc. was officially established. What began as a single ride is now a year‑round mission centered on compassion, community, and the belief that no family should face their hardest moments alone. This expansion also included a focus on organizing motorcycle events and veteran activities, ensuring that everyone can participate in the mission of support.
The Toy Run remains at the heart of the organization as it continues to provide care, support, and hope for families throughout the region.
